Hey Feelings is building the world's first complete emotional learning ecosystem designed for kids (ages 3-9), their parents, and educators. We combine engaging physical products (like board games, toys, and books) with interactive digital tools (including our Hey Feelings Academy platform and upcoming app) and a universe of relatable characters. About the Role:
We are seeking a creative and strategic Content Creator to develop engaging content across our digital channels. This full-time role focuses on creating compelling social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and marketing materials that effectively communicate the Hey Feelings mission and value to parents and educators. You will be the primary voice of our brand in written content, translating complex emotional learning concepts into accessible, valuable, and shareable content.
What You'll Do:
- Create and publish engaging, on-brand content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.) including captions, graphics concepts, and short video ideas
- Develop thoughtful, informative blog posts about social-emotional learning, parenting topics, and product highlights
- Write copy for email newsletters, product descriptions, landing pages, and marketing campaigns
- Craft educational resources such as downloadable guides, FAQs, and user tutorials
- Maintain and champion the Hey Feelings brand voice and tone across all content
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team on content calendars, campaigns, and promotions
- Work with the SEL Domain Expert to ensure content accurately reflects child development principles
- Analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies based on data insights
Who You Are:
- You have 3+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, social media management, or a similar role, preferably for a consumer brand, EdTech, or parenting-focused company
- Your written communication skills in English are exceptional, with the ability to write engaging, clear, and persuasive copy in a variety of formats and tones
- You have strong knowledge of social media platforms, content best practices, and digital marketing fundamentals
- You can translate complex educational concepts into accessible, engaging content for diverse audiences
- You have experience creating various types of written content (social posts, blog articles, marketing copy)
- You are creative, organized, and able to manage multiple content projects simultaneously
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) or video editing abilities are a plus
- A passion for social-emotional learning, child development, or education is highly desirable
Compensation & Logistics:
- This is a Full-Time, remote position. Employment status (Employee vs. Contractor) may depend on location.
- Compensation: Estimated salary range $55,000 - $75,000 USD per year (or equivalent contract rate), commensurate with experience and location.
- Flexible schedule, primarily asynchronous work with some availability for team collaboration.
