Hey Feelings is building the world's first complete emotional learning ecosystem designed for kids (ages 3-9), their parents, and educators. We combine engaging physical products (like board games, toys, and books) with interactive digital tools (including our Hey Feelings Academy platform and upcoming app) and a universe of relatable characters. Our mission is to make understanding and navigating emotions a positive, accessible, and skills-building experience for young children and the adults who support them.

‍About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and results-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis (approx. 15-20 hours per week). This role is crucial for expanding our reach, building brand awareness within parent and educator communities (primarily in English-speaking markets), and driving engagement with the Hey Feelings ecosystem across multiple channels. As an early marketing hire, you will play a key part in shaping how we communicate our value, connect with our audience, and contribute directly to our growth.‍

What You'll Do:

• Develop, execute, and monitor digital marketing campaigns across social media (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest), email marketing, and potentially paid social/search channels.
• Create compelling, on-brand content (social media posts, visuals/short video concepts, email copy, blog snippets, ad copy) tailored to resonate with parents and educators.
• Manage and grow the Hey Feelings social media presence, scheduling content, fostering community interaction, and responding to comments/messages.
• Analyze campaign performance, social media engagement, and website traffic (using tools like Google Analytics) to report on key metrics and inform future strategies.
• Collaborate closely with the co-founders on go-to-market strategies, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Research and identify relevant trends, hashtags, and opportunities within the parenting, education, SEL, and CPG spaces.
• Assist in managing relationships with influencers or potential brand partners.

Who You Are:

• You have 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in digital marketing, with a portfolio or clear examples showcasing successful campaigns, particularly in social media and email marketing.
• You possess a strong understanding of major social media platforms (especially Instagram, Facebook), email marketing best practices, and digital marketing analytics.
• Your written and verbal communication skills in English are excellent, allowing you to craft engaging, clear, and persuasive copy for different audiences and platforms.
• You are highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing your own time and tasks effectively in a fully remote, asynchronous-leaning environment.
• You are proficient with social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo), and basic analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• You have a genuine passion for Hey Feelings' mission to support children's emotional development and can connect with the needs and interests of parents and educators.
• Experience marketing to parents or educators, or experience in EdTech, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or a startup environment is a significant plus.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) or video editing abilities for social content are desirable but not required.

Compensation & Logistics:

• This is a Part-Time (approx. 15-20 hours per week), remote, Independent Contractor (1099) position.
• Compensation: We offer a competitive hourly rate, estimated range $35 - $50 USD per hour, commensurate with your experience and skills.
• Flexible schedule, but requires some availability overlap with Central European Time (CET) for key team meetings (e.g., a few hours per week).
