Who We Are:

Hey Feelings is building the world's first complete emotional learning ecosystem designed for kids (ages 3-9), their parents, and educators. We combine engaging physical products (like board games, toys, and books) with interactive digital tools (including our Hey Feelings Academy platform and upcoming app) and a universe of relatable characters. Our mission is to make understanding and navigating emotions a positive, accessible, and skills-building experience for young children and the adults who support them.

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to create visually compelling assets across our physical and digital products. This is a part-time contractor or project-based role focused on designing packaging, marketing materials, digital interfaces, and educational resources that are both beautiful and functional. You'll work within our established brand guidelines to create cohesive, engaging designs that appeal to children, parents, and educators alike.

What You'll Do:

• Design product packaging, game components, cards, and printed materials for our physical products
• Create engaging social media graphics, marketing collateral, and promotional assets
• Develop visual elements for our digital platforms including website graphics and UI components
• Design educational resources such as worksheets, guides, and visual aids
• Maintain visual consistency across all brand touchpoints while innovating within our established style
• Collaborate with illustrators, UI/UX designers, and content creators to ensure cohesive design execution
• Prepare print-ready files and digital assets in appropriate formats and specifications

Who You Are:

• You have a strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design versatility, particularly in packaging, print, and digital media (please provide a link)
• You possess excellent skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• You have 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with consumer products, children's brands, or educational materials
• You have a strong understanding of print production processes and file preparation
• You can adapt to and enhance established brand styles while maintaining consistency
• You have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• You communicate effectively and collaborate well in a remote environment
• Experience designing for children or educational products is highly valuable
• Understanding of accessibility considerations in design is a plus

Compensation & Logistics:

• This is a Remote, Part-Time Contractor position, likely project-based or on an hourly retainer (estimated 10-20 hours per week)
• Compensation: Estimated hourly rate $40 - $65 USD per hour, or project-based equivalent, based on experience and portfolio quality
• Flexible schedule, primarily project and deadline-driven
