Hey Feelings is building the world's first complete emotional learning ecosystem designed for kids (ages 3-9), their parents, and educators. We combine engaging physical products (like board games, toys, and books) with interactive digital tools (including our Hey Feelings Academy platform and upcoming app) and a universe of relatable characters. Our mission is to make understanding and navigating emotions a positive, accessible, and skills-building experience for young children and the adults who support them.

‍About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical E-commerce Specialist to manage and optimize our online sales channels on a part-time basis (approx. 10-15 hours per week). This role focuses on ensuring a smooth and effective online shopping experience for our customers purchasing Hey Feelings physical products. You will manage product listings, monitor inventory, analyze sales data, and contribute to the overall performance of our direct-to-consumer e-commerce operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage product listings (descriptions, images, pricing, variations) on our primary e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify) and potentially future marketplaces (e.g., Amazon).
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations/founders regarding stock management.
  • Analyze e-commerce sales data, track key performance indicators (KPIs) like conversion rate, average order value (AOV), and traffic sources.
  • Generate regular reports on e-commerce performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in setting up and managing online promotions, discount codes, and potentially basic email flows related to purchases.
  • Troubleshoot minor e-commerce platform issues or coordinate with technical support when needed.
  • Contribute to optimizing the user experience on our online store for improved conversion.

Who You Are:

  • You have 1-3 years of hands-on experience managing e-commerce platforms, with strong preference given to Shopify experience.
  • You possess good analytical skills and are comfortable working with sales data and e-commerce metrics.
  • You have strong attention to detail and are highly organized.
  • You understand the basics of online retail operations and the customer journey.
  • You are proficient with spreadsheet software (Excel, Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
  • You are a proactive problem-solver and can work independently in a remote setting.
  • Experience with setting up products on Amazon Seller Central is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or other web analytics tools is desirable.

Compensation & Logistics:

  • This is a Part-Time (approx. 10-15 hours per week), remote, Independent Contractor (1099) position.
  • Compensation: Estimated hourly rate $30 - $45 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Flexible schedule, primarily asynchronous work.
